Briefs: Matawan woman chosen to work for the Gateway School

Chelsea Leonard, Matawan, has been hired for the Gateway School, Carteret, one of three RKS Association private special education schools approved by the state Department of Education for students with special needs and disabilities. Leonard, one of the seven teachers at the Gateway School, oversees classroom management, differentiates instruction by creating lessons that accommodate students’ various learning abilities and learning styles, and works with staff at the Gateway School to help students achieve to their maximum potential. Before joining the staff at Gateway School, Leonard was a resource room teacher in the Hazlet school district.

MindfulNest Therapy opens its doors in Red Bank
